Prized in perfumery, jasmine gives off sweet floral notes. Its powdery sweetness, typical of white flowers, is envelopping and diffuses generously.

Its name comes from the Arabic ‘yâsamîn’, itself borrowed from Persian. The sweet-smelling flower grows on an Indian shrub of the Oleaceae family. Cleopatra is said to have gone to meet Marc Antoine on a boat whose sails were coated with jasmine essence.

Directions of Use:
Place each taper candle securely in a suitable candlestick, candelabra or candle holder.
Trim the wick to approximately 0.5 cm (¼ inch) before lighting for a clean, even burn.
Keep at least 8 cm (3 inches) between burning candles and away from draughts.
Burn in a well-ventilated area and never leave a lit candle unattended.
The botanical fragrance is most noticeable when opening the box, while the lit candle creates a soft, elegant glow for dining and entertaining.
